All you need is Less!

Minimalist Xmas 🌲

All you need is Less,

C O N N E C T more, consume less!

Fill this season with intentionality rather than accumulation!

Here there are a few ideas:

CHOOSE LOCAL

Support your community ✨

Let's invest on those ones rather than big companies such as Amazon etc. When you support a local small business you're supporting a family & a dream!

CHOOSE EXPERIENCES OVER THINGS

Gifting experiences allows us to curb the clutter, cut back on the excess and raise kids to value adventure and time together over possessions.

A NEW TRADITION OF LESS

Make this year the start of a new Christmas tradition. A tradition of less. Not for the sake of owning less, but for the chance to let how you spend your days deeply align with what matters most to you.

GET INSPIRED

Minimalism is about intentionality and alignment. Consider your values and priorities, decide what “enough” means to you, and then align your holiday celebration accordingly.

GIVE MINDFULLY 🍍

The last thing any of us needs is more stuff that we don’t love and won’t use.

Rather than buying cheap stocking fillers that will be lost/broken/forgotten within a month, why not give someone a memory they’ll never forget?

Give gifts that grow, a potted herb garden, a plant will give ongoing joy and beauty.

Give of your time, consider giving the gift of a donation to a charitable cause, or even participating in one yourself. As a an animal lover, why not sponsor an animal on their behalf?

Give eco-friendly, why not give a gift that turns someone’s lifestyle choices for the better?

Reduce wrapping

Think about the number of trees, dyes, and chemicals that get put into making cards and gift wrap each year.

Go treeless, don't kill a tree!

Instead, go on the hunt for a fallen branch from a park nearby and adorn it with some lights. You could also use a pot plant you may already have in your home.

Gratitude 🙌

Choosing to have a grateful mindset is one the most significant changes you can make during your holiday season.

Keep your eyes and your heart open to notice all that you have to be grateful for over the holidays (and all year!). It’s amazing when you look for the good, how much joy you will find ✨

The ethos of minimalism is all about simplicity, taking the time to think of a meaningful gift or even craft it ourselves is a wonderful opportunity.

It allows us to reflect on our loved ones and give a gift that truly means something

With Love,

Lorena xx

Merry Zen Xmas 🌱
