The Art of Simplicity

It is now during these uncertain times when we need  to remain calm, grounded and solid on our own foundation. It's time to find joy in getting back to live a simple life.

This is a great opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, families, friends and overall with Nature. What kind of world we would like to have in the future? Every little action counts.

I've been practising minimalism and simplicity for a while now. I love the elegant concept of Simplicity, what does it mean? For me it means taking charge of our own lives, making conscious decisions, declutter our physical & emotional spaces, defragmenting layers of our souls thus finding the core, the essence of life. That's the beauty of it!

These are a few easy Zen minimalist tips that we can integrate into our daily rutines:

* Be GENTLE/flexible towards yourself *
You spend the day giving. You give your time, space and energy to your family, friends, work, and many other things. If you are lucky, you find a little time to unwind during the day, but it doesn’t happen every day. If you want to continue to give, you have to put you first. A morning routine, just for you every morning will change your entire day. Wake up 5 minutes early and move slowly instead of speeding through the morning making sure everyone has what they need. You first. It’s not selfish, it’s necessary & essential.

* Your home is your COCOON, Declutter it!
Keep a small beside your main door and drop things that you don’t use in it every day. Try no to accumulate many things over the years. Material things hold energy and some of those can be link to heavy emotional periods of our past. Its also an excellent exercise of letting go, it feels so liberating!

* Be GRATEFUL as much as you can *
Gratitude turns what we have into enough!
gratitude is synonymous to Abundance, there is also scientific evidence that expressing genuine gratitude on a daily basis can improve physical health as well by improving quality of sleep, cardiovascular (heart) health and immune function.
Gratitude is simply cultivating a genuine appreciation for what we already have.

* I really believe that money is ENERGY *
After years of having my own Holistic business I realised that those times when I was happier & had more vitality made better business than others when I felt down or sad. It's amazing how much power we have on our own lives.
I really like to pay attention to where I spent my money, everyday little  transactions are counting too,  it's a way of voting, supporting other businesses and philosophies behind.
Love to feel my cash flow is healthy and contribute in the best way!

* Be more with LESS *
With years and from experience I learnt to super value my energy so I make sure I do exchange energy wisely and love to
be supported and inspired by like-minded beautiful human beings. And then support and inspire them right back.

* Discover what you LOVE *
Love & Passion, these two words changed my whole life when I didn't know what to do in life back in years, then I put these two beauties together & Magic happened!
Simplifying your life is rewarding, but you might get bored with the process if it is all-consuming. The best part of getting rid of the things that don’t matter, is that you build time and space to discover what is truly meaningful to you. Discover and engage. Simplicity paves the way for you to start doing the things you really love.

* PEACE of mind *
Get organized. The only papers on your desk should be those you're currently working with. I like to review all my receipts at the end of the month, it's is good exercise to see how much you spend and what things you bought, it really gives you an insight of your economy, then file those papers you need and bin the rest & repeat this every month. De-clutter your wardrobes every season, clear your computer time to time, bring plants & color into your home & life. Pay attention to light, leave clear and clean corners of your house, energy flows better then, special attention to the main door of your house (invite WEALTH into your life) have it clean, place some plants or flowers, keep it simple yet beautiful!

* Find LIGHT in your darkness *
Whenever you find yourself in a stressful situation, sad, frustrated...remember the Lotus flower, it is one of the most ancient and deepest symbols of our planet. The lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty...Find Love in your heart and mind.

Be QUIET & observe Nature, sun keeps rising up every morning, moon and stars keep shinning in the sky every night, trees keep expanding their roots along earth...everything keeps breathing & so we are...Life moves forward no matter what!

Thanks for giving time to yourself
